Margot's Place is an inclusive non-profit program providing support to young moms in the Brantford community.
In 2017, a small group of young moms from the Brantford community formed Parker’s Project; a parent-led initiative to investigate and fill the needs of young parents in the community. They met with over 150 local young moms to find out the answer to one essential question: What do you need to feel better supported as a parent? Margot's Place was created in response to the needs identified in the Parker's Project Final Report.
Margot’s Place recognizes that many young women in the Brantford-Brant community experience significant challenges during their pregnancy and parenting journey. We believe it is vital for young parents to receive support from other parents and to feel connected to their community.
