The UCW is involved in everything from serving tea and sandwiches at funerals to taking part in national campaigns to fight child poverty. They meet on the last Monday of every month, generally in the evenings but sometimes during the afternoon. They host a variety of events including teas, lectures, concerts, and an annual "Dessert and Games" held at the beginning of May.
